New work by Susan Ayako Higo and Meadow Presley

August 3–September 25, 2007
Receptions: Friday, August 3 and Friday, September 7, 7 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Susan Higo is a Los Angeles based conceptual artist whose
sculptural and installation work focuses on gender roles,
immigrant identities, "collateral damage," struggles in
parenting, power dynamics, and resolution of personal, and
universal dichotomies.

Meadow Presley's mixed media sculpture, collage and
installation combines themes of memory, collections and the
body. For this show she created a series of obsessively hand-
stitched garments and nature inspired forms.
